Having studied the theory of communication at the Harvard School of Business I pioneered the application of interactive communication to the Marketing & Advertising community. The communication issues I addressed (among others) are those of clutter,selective perception and cognitive dissonance together with accountability. I have invested over time in over $10m in independent research, including a one time year long purchase study comparing receivers of our programme vs non receivers, who were exposed to all other marketing for the ten brands over that period of time. In all key measurements a) One time purchase, b) trial and C) repeat purchase my technique substantially outperformed the frequency model preached by advertising agencies. The technique is most appropriate for the emerging digital media, however I would like to stress that the technique is media neutral and can be used, most successfully by analogue or digital media with equal success.
