For any new busienss startup, time is the most valuable resource there is. This is especially true when it's a home based, network marketing business and you'll see why this is so in just a moment.

Success or failure in business will always come down to how you use your time.

Here are 3 different ways your time can be utilized. Learn to maximize this most precious resource to get the most from your business building efforts.

Succeeding in your network marketing business will require you to invest time . This is the most important thing you can do with your time.

The biggest reason why most new network marketers will fail is because of a lack of practical business building skills. These skills can include marketing, effective communication, copy writing and budgeting.

Get into the habit of dedicating a few hours every day to develop the skills needed for long term business growth. Nobody was born an expert at anything. You'll only become expert by investing time into developing the skills needed.

Whenever you invest something, whether it's money, time or whatever, you're doing so with the expectation of a higher value payoff at some point in the future. Your network marketing success tomorrow depends on an invest of your time today.

Next up is the spending of time. We all have to spend a certain amount of our time so make sure you're spending yours wisely.

A few examples of spending time can include book keeping or managing your email inbox.

Nobody is capable of always using time efficiently. A certain amount of it will have to be spent, there's just no way around it. When you do spend your time, do so wisely.

Third on the list is wasting your time. The reason why most people fail in their network marketing business is because most people waste way too much of their time.

Examples of wasting time include pursuing people who are not good, qualified prospects for your business, surfing the internet aimlessly or making personal phone calls during working hours.

Remember that everything you've just read relates to your Monday through Friday workday schedule. We all need to make life a little fun and there is plenty of time at night and on weekends to engage in fun, time wasting activities.

As human beings it's impossible to always use all of our time wisely. All I'm suggesting is that you jealously guard and wisely use the time you have during your workday.

And please always remember as it relates to success in network marketing business: never, ever give your time away freely to other people.

Building up a network of business minded distributors is your key to MLM success. Your own success will come about by working with others to become successful themselves.

You can maximize your efforts by making sure to only work with people who are serious about building a strong business. Nothing will drive you to failure more quickly than working with tire kickers. They will sap your energy faster than any other single thing.
