Business owners and marketers are well aware that size does matter, especially when we’re talking about advertising materials. Often, advertising tools such as your poster printing ads are made to provide a well-proportioned, balanced and color coordinated ads that your target clients would be attracted to. But why do you think most advertisers still make the same mistakes when creating their business signs? Their ads are often predictable, not to mention invisible to most of their target clients. Especially for poster printing ads, the main objective of creating it is to get your target clients attracted and interested in what you have to say. If you don’t, then why advertise in the first place? You’re only wasting not only your own time, money and energy, but your target clients’ as well. There’s a reason why signs and print ads such as your larger-than-life advertising posters are made. If you remember your marketing plan, your mantra might have the same lines as these: more ad size means better recall; better recall means an increase in sales. What’s your purpose then? To make your target clients so interested in your ad that they will be able to remember it every time. What else do you think are the reasons why you should have big sized ads? For one thing, great and larger-than-life ads can become an interesting piece of scenery rather than a blend in the background. No wonder your ads are not noticed by people. You make one of the most common mistakes in your print ads – you underspend and you make it fit in your environment. On the contrary, you need to stand out, and not be a wallflower. Second, great ads are often dramatic, horribly oversized, strangely placed, and three-dimensional. They’re not understated and elegant that they lose appeal with a ‘hohum’ design. Would you rather have your target clients dozing over your ads? Or they’re so compelling and eye-catching that even those you’re not trying to attract take notice even if they’re not looking for it. Third, they’re just different. They don’t blend and they definitely don’t fit any regular pattern. They have a unique combination of colors; again, they are installed in a strange way; and they definitely stand on their own so that no element can distract from their appeal. Having oversized and tremendously different ads can make for an interesting campaign indeed. It may take you back a few dollars and lots of your efforts, but when done, your larger-than-life advertising posters can be a landmark that your target clients will not be able to forget even if they want to.
