The Lure of Easy Money

By: Bradley900 Doolen900

No Such Thing as Easy Money

Our funds will by no means be ever adequate. Regardless of what we earn, we will always end up spending it all; hence need more money at all times. Our upbringing has conditioned us to want brought immense success which directly translates to fat bank accounts. Our inborn want for riches drives us to go the extra mile in our jobs, and also look for extra income business ventures, a good number of them being internet oriented. We have always wanted to take shortcuts in life, and get enormous profits - it’s only human nature. We want to be able to work from our beds in pajamas and stock our bank accounts.

This shortcut options is what most conmen count on when they are picking their victims to take money from. Hoaxers know everyone loves the easy way out – as they do to – and that no one wants to not have the best money can buy, without necessarily breaking a sweat to get that money. This conmen are aware that an idea to make easy money is an irresistible offer to most people, and that no single individual minds the extra income.

The media has covered stories as told by criminals found guilty of fraudulency and one thing has been made clear. Taking money from unsuspecting or ignorant people is as easy as taking candy from a child. An hour, they say, is too much time anyway, to crack open credit card details of their targets and cash out whatever amount they need. With a simple phone call so carefully planned, the fraudsters take on fake personas that they know you, the unsuspecting victims, will trust to give your card details. If you ever wondered why you should be concerned about adware and spyware on your computer, this is one of the reasons. They collect your information and your log on habits, only to send it back to the swindler. Information can also be collected from unsecured websites that will require you to key in your card details.

What would you do then to keep away from these fraudsters?

Always bear in mind that easy money only exists in paper and not in real life. No one in their right minds is going to pay you millions of dollars for doing nothing. No matter how good an offer look, do not give your credit card details. Do not give the card details over the phone for ‘confirmation’ without verifying that the caller is an authorized source.

The other side of the coin is that they are real ‘work from home’ jobs that do pay very well, and could be considered easy money that supplements your regular income. If you find yourself with free time on your hands, you could offer services like transcription services, virtual assistants etc as a way of making that extra income. My advice would be, before jumping at an offer, make user they is enough information to back that website or service buyer up.
