Wondering what business to start? I would first like to say there are a lot people out there that would love to make money with their own business. However, very few take the steps to make this a reality. If you are like most, they sit back and wonder what they can do and how can they do it. If you are like me you know that it is something I should do. But what really happens is you just live your life, and with everything in the hectic day, the idea of starting a home business gets on the back burning. Would you like to figure out how to get started? How do you figure out what business to start? … simple you have to make the first step!

Great!, lets put the hetic life stuff aside and give this some consideration. I guess we have to answer a few questions.

• What business type could I really start?
• What benefits does it really give me?
• Do I have time to make it work?
• What do I needed to do to make the business successful?
• How long will it really take?

Well first of all, if you don’t do anything and try I think answering these questions would be real easy for anyone. But, if we really want to try then I think we should try to answer them and then you can see how it fits into your plans.

What business type could I really start?
Many options are avaliable when you are trying to decide on a business to start, offering your services as a business to opening up a franchise. Some small business owners must spend massive amounts of time… 60 to 70 hours a week, or even more to run their businesses. Franchises will require large upfront costs for start-up cost plus lengthy startup times before profits are really seen. You’ll need to find a company and product line that you can be passionate about. And there’s no shortage of companies to select from. There are almost 5,000 companies in network marketing and direct sales. Most market similar products and services that fall into 5 basic categories. The typical choices include companies that sell cosmetics and skin care products, there’s also the nutritional and weight-loss category. You may have heard these referred to as lotions, potions and pills. Next are companies who sell household products: Cleaning products, home accessories and decor, candles, or even clothing items.

Another category includes companies who market some sort of technology products or services, Cell phone service, internet programs, online stuff, and the like. Finally there are companies who sell some sort of service. Travel programs have been pretty common. Some sell financial services. And others have some kind of discount membership or savings program. There are a lot of choices with many great products to choose from.
Wouldn’t it be great if you had a product that was unique, fresh and exciting?
Imagine having the perfect product, a product that everybody wants and loves. A product that is exciting and prestigious and competitors can’t ever make a better one.

Do I have time to make it work

This is the beauty of this… the traditional well known “old school” network marketing are stuck. Everyone has heard of them, the markets are tapped out for large growth potential and the products are easily obtainable in local stores. Picture if you have a product that holds it value, with the economic times is in high demand, there is no competitive or better product and you can’t go buy it at the local store? You can take a totally different marketing approach than the “warm” approach where you as your friend, uncle, cousin and coworker. You can now send the message out to the masses and let then ones that see the value and want to join your business come to you.
