"As an avid fiction reader I have subscriptions to various publications both online and in print. From many of these I receive in the mail each month a newsletter covering upcoming authors, events, or interviews. It’s nice to know what’s going to be coming up, and does plenty to encourage me to keep reading. Even more than the knowledge it gives it can make me feel like I’m a part of a community, which can be a very nice feeling.

There’s no reason why any business should fail to recognize the strong impact such a thing can have on their customer base. Really getting to know a place, the people in it, the things going on, and the sales being made, does so much to put a person at ease. Did you have impressive sales figures this year? Why keep your customers out of the loop? People like to be a part of a community, and knowing the place you enjoy shopping at is doing well can do plenty to encourage a person to keep going.

Printing business brochures and newsletters acts as an effective method of creating that personable feel. No one likes the idea of the cold, emotionless corporate machine that cares about nothing but the almighty dollar. Why not show them the picture of your employee of the month in a beautifully colored and designed newsletter? Give them a convenient and clearly organized business brochure that lets them know that because of them you’re doing great.

For freelance workers this idea can be just as effective when it comes to letting businesses know about your services. Hand them a brochure listing all your skills and recent achievements. Showing them your success is a great way of letting them know how trustworthy you are along with telling them all about the services you provide. The more types of jobs you handle the greater the importance in allowing a company to hear about them. The brochure is also great if you want to target a particular market. Research what they’re looking for and give them a brochure aimed specifically at them. A personalized brochure or newsletter will always stand out among the generic ones.

Let your customers have a better look at you and the business you run. Pull them in close in order to build that personal connection. Make them realize you’re not just a faceless corporation with no real emotion or feelings. People like to be able to trust whatever services they’re getting, so open up your doors by printing a newsletter or brochure. Few things can make a person feel as appreciated.
