Rewriting PLR Ebooks and PLR Articles: 6 Tips On How To Do It

It is no overstatement to say that PLR e-books and PLR articles may be very helpful resources for hard-working marketers who are trying to develop their online businesses. This is not merely due to the fact that PLR articles and e-books may be acquired comparatively cheaply these days, but also because these products have an intrinsic value in that a considerable amount of (keyword) research and writing already has been done for you.

But PLR content may be unsafe. For many internet businesses realize the value of Private Label Rights articles and ebooks and are using it on a regular basis. This means that the very same PLR articles and ebooks may have been used tens or hundreds of times in various places online to produce "new" articles and e-books, with or without those business owners having extensively modified it.

How to Succeed with PLR

Consequently, we might say the following regarding how to rewrite your PLR ebook or article: your rewriting have to be done in a way as to guarantee that the end product becomes actually unique. If you do, it may very well serve you better in the search engines. From the perspective of the search engines, distinctive content will always be a big advantage.

Another reason is, naturally, the visitors: who likes to visit a new site and take part of the exact same material as on one of the rival sites? So even if the search engine robots very well may have overlooked an identical or near-identical article or ebook, your visitor may perhaps not be quite as accepting. It is therefore essential that you invest some real time and effort rewriing the PLR ebooks and articles properly, so that they may serve both you and your customers well.

Rewriting might also be done for other reasons; for example, all who write do no think using the same thought patterns. Some writers write their articles and ebooks in such a way as to, perhaps, leave out a selection of things that you yourself would have considered to be expected to include. Or maybe the author wrote in a way that is not acceptable to you? Or maybe there were some incorrect "facts" in it? Modify the title

There is a propensity among PLR content to not have rightly chosen titles. Whatever the reason for this is (for instance, to be able to allure the potential customer into acquiring the product), it might be wise to alter the title into something that is better suited for the product you are planning to produce. This is important not only because of buyer satisfaction concerns, but also for search engine optimisation reasons.

Note, however, that even though the PLR title is NOT badly chosen, you may still have to alter it, to make it really unique. In any case, you may want to play around with Google's free keyword tool to see which title might be most suitable.

Move paragraphs

One way to "rewrite" a PLR article or ebook is merely to reorganize the paragraphs in the manuscript. By putting one paragraph before another, the total flow of the article (or ebook) can become significantly enhanced. And the beauty of this method is that there is no actual typing involved!

Remove paragraphs

Deleting one or more paragraphs is another way to "rewrite" or reorganize the paragraphs. This way may be especially proper to use when one is struggling with PLR articles and PLR ebooks of low quality, where there may be a considerable amount of paragraphs that fit less well with the topic of the PLR article or ebook.

Reword paragraphs

Here is another technique: save the basic ideas and focus of each paragraph, but express the ideas in alternative ways. For instance, instad of writing "the Sun is very far away", you could rewrite that phrase as "the star of our solar system is at a distance from earth of roughly 150 million kilometers."

Make paragraphs more extensive

Although extending a paragraph without doubt is a way to rewrite a paragraph (and thus may potentially be a part of the previous point), I nevertheless want to keep this idea as a point by itself. It is by this method that you can make your PLR article or ebook even more unique, and significantly more of use to your customers.

When I say "extending an article" I mean to say that you should consider adding more content to include new points. For instance, you might want to add new reasons, new questions, new data, new arguments, etc.

Such an extension may now and then result in very long paragraphs, so you may want to consider splitting up the longer paragraphs into several shorter ones. This is only a good thing, for it makes your content even more unique.

Attach Relevant Links

Some PLR products include links that the author either already inserted into the text or left to you to insert. In either case, you may or may not want to include, or hang on to, those links in your rewritten material. You may, for example, decide to have your own (affiliate or product) links in your text, or, alternatively, to have no links whatsoever in there.

Note, however, that relevance is key. For instance, in an article on how to paint a wall, don't include a product link to some impressive Swiss watch, or to some expert software specialist. Be relevant!

Some final thoughts

It is true that PLR ebooks and articles may boost your online profits if done properly. One step toward success is to be very cautious to rewrite the articles and ebooks in such a way that they become not only unique but also valuable to your potential customers.

While you are at it, you may even decide to do other modifications to make your readers even more delighted with your material. You might, for example, add other items such as illustrations, graphs, or even videos. So give your articles and ebooks a more individual touch and you will almost certainlyexperience even more happy readers!
