Quickest Way To Write Great Google Ads

This article is for you if you know that a higher click through ratio in Google AdWords you can get higher ad positions without increasing your cost per click. You want a way to see which ads are already performing well in Google AdWords. This article is going to show you a great strategy for finding out which ads are already performing well on Google AdWords.

The goal of your ad is to promote or pre-sell something on your website. It is not the place to talk about how long you've been in business or how great you are.

1.) If you use AdWords to generate sales leads for your business by giving away something for free on your website in exchange for your potential customer's contact information then your ad copy should clearly promote your free giveaway.

2.) Do you run an ecommerce website selling products online? If you said yes then your ad copy should be specific to the benefits of the product(s) you're selling. Remember your ad copy is your salesperson in print.

Here's the fastest way to find great ad copy ideas for your AdWords campaigns. Get our a sheet of paper and a pen and write down your main goal (generate sales leads or generate sales).

Do you have a keyword or key phrase that is relevant to your product or service? Jot it down.

Next open a web browser and go to Google.com and type in your keyword or key phrase. You'll see a bunch of tiny text based ads on the top and or right hand side of the search results page. This is the first place you should start to get ideas for how other people are promoting their "offer" for the keyword or key phrase you just typed into Google. Write down the ads that seem to be promoting something similar to what you want to promote (if you can find them).

Now that you've seen some ads that you like let's take it one step further and find out which ads are actually getting the best click through ratios (most clicks per view).

We're going to add what is called a "wild card" after you desired keyword. Enter you keyword into Google but add it like this (your keyword 7uyr5) Note: take out the parenthesis when you do your search. This will show you the 'good' ads. It works because obviously no one is searching with "7uyr5" after your keyword. Google wants to show the searcher the most relevant ads so they come back with ads that already perform well (higher CTR's).

Do you see ads on the search results page? Write down the ads that appear to be promoting something similar to what you want to promote. These ads will give you a good starting point for writing your own ads.

I use this technique every day when I'm launching a new campaign. When I want to find out which ads are already performing well in Google this is the technique that I use. You know have a great way to find good ad copy ideas for your own ads.
