Most distributors tend to get excited about a company's goods and enroll. However, they fail to consider the business aspects. And they fail to put together a plan before enrolling.

Network Marketing Success, How To Choose The Right Business Opportunity for You

It takes awhile to put together a network marketing business that generates any real money. Today's top earners learn to blend the traditional approach with online marketing.

The traditional network marketing method can get you off to a rapid start, if it is used effectively. Online marketing takes a period of time to learn (but will definitely be worth it), unless you are already Internet marketing savvy.

It is definitely okay if you aren't currently enrolled in a primary company. Now is a great time to initiate your marketing, starting with a clearly defined plan. And, if you are currently in an opportunity, here are a few ideas that should help you have additional success.

If you're serious about succeeding, here are my recommendations:

1. Build a directory of every person you have a relationship with, e.g., personal, family, business, etc., BUT do not think you are going to have to chase or bug them, Read on…

2. Think about whom on that list would be most receptive to join anything, you want to get into, just because they believe in you and trust you.

3. Prioritize your list based on recommendation 2. (This is a crucial action.)

4. You will use this list to tell people that you are involved in a new venture and ask them who they know that they think might want to hear about your kind of business. This is a very low key strategy. Some people will want to learn more about what you are in for their own advantage. Others may give you a referral that you can contact using their name.

5. Focus your thoughts on what those people would be interested in, would benefit most from being involved with, and may want to learn more about,

6. Clearly define what market you want to be in – Local? National? Global? Think about what your market may be very interested in. Do your research.

7. Now, think about what you are very interested in. Do any of their interests match any of your interests?

8. Look for an opportunity that promotes products or services that matches your criteria.

9. Evaluate the business completely. (Read a number of the articles I posted on various companies to get a sense of what to evaluate.)

11. Begin now to study online marketing and lead generation methods from poeple who are currently successful.

12. Get involved in mastering ONE lead generation method (I mean, so well that you can author a book teaching it) and get going applying it right now. Concentrate on generating an email list that you can share ideas with, add value to, and build a relationship with.

I imagine you get my point. Now is an excellent time to implement your plan and developing relationships. You do not have to enroll the whole human race to be doing well.

You have to attract, not run after, the recruits that you truly would like to have on your team. A capability that you have to acquire.

Concentrate on only enrolling 2 associates at a time, helping them get started and into profit by helping them enroll 2. Then, help them help their 2 new reps sponsor 2, and so on…

...Until they get it. You are training leaders to follow a profitable path.

Once leaders arise that can assist in training, get out your list (written and online generated) and recruit another 2 people that you want to work with. Continue to be very selective. Follow your successful path.

Keep it simple and your team will grow huge!
