After successfully logging in to your LinkedIn profile, click on the Groups tab and you shall be able to find the Groups Directory. By clicking the Groups Directory, you will have access to the different groups on this social network. This is where you will start looking for people to add as connections so they can be a part of your network. Before you can invite people to connect with, you need to join groups. On the left corner of the featured groups is a box mainly intended for doing your search. There are three things that you need to enter-keywords, category, and language. For MLM companies, entering your main keywords will definitely deliver you excellent results.

With the specific groups shown, you can now choose which groups to join. Simply click on the "Join group" button on the right side of the group name or you can also click the name of the group and then you will be directed to the group's profile. Not all groups automatically approve your request to become a member but some will directly give you access to the group upon clicking on the link to join. Well, if you are lucky to have joined such group, you can start inviting the members to be a part of your network.

If you have been successful in becoming a member of the group, take for example a multilevel marketing group, you will be given access to the group's activity as well as its discussions, news, jobs, subgroups, and most of all a list of its members. This is where you can take advantage of LinkedIn's power to give you great opportunities for business partnerships and generate awareness of your brand. Adding members as connections, however needs to go through a quick verification process before your invitation can be sent. LinkedIn will ask you to choose specific reasons as to how you have come to know the person such as: whether that person is a colleague, classmate, friend, you've done business together, you've known the person because of the group, or if you don't know the person at all. A perfect answer to this is choosing the category Groups. Below the reasons given for the invitation, you will notice a box for a personal note to the person you're inviting. Though it is optional, it's best to send a friendly message and you would need to make it sound genuine.
