MLM Training - Are You Humble Enough To Be Coachable?

On tonights company training call, some people got a dose of reality, it made people dig deep and find out their true reason for joining MLM. Basically the leader of the conference call achieved a moment in his team where he can see who the leaders are and those individuals who are stagnant in their business.

See this MLM Training call wasn't to edify the leaders but to strike a chord in the minds of those who enlisted in MLM for a change in their life, highlight possible problems that are causing the lack of growth and provide value so they can be successful.

Here are some of the points covered and I want to ask you if you're having these issues as well. I know I did when I started in this industry and this was before the internet.

Patience

97% of the MLM industry want to quit their jobs in thirty to ninety days and have residual riches until the day the die. Sure, some 10 year MLM veteran can ask most of his current team mates to move from one network marketing company to another, however this isn't the norm in the industry.

Never ever compare your success with that of an MLM veteran that just became an overnight sensation. Your MLM lead generation knowledge, your valued knowledge, your branding, your prospecting experience will be completely different from other networkers. You are the unique variable in this arena, you are one of a kind and you have the competence to accomplish fantastic things. If your guru is suggesting to adjust this or that regarding your business be sure to execute it because your mentor positively sees much more that you don't. This slight modification may convert the path of your business absolutely.

However if you're not recruiting anyone into your business, be honest with yourself and ask the following questions.

- Am I truly happy in the MLM company I'm involved with?
- Have I called absolutely everyone on my warm list?
- Are my Facebook friends interested in what I have to say?
- Am I providing value as a leader?
- Is my unbelief halting my success?

Fear

Has your MLM training shown you how to resolve and overcome fear? Can you relate with any of the following...

- Will anyone laugh at me?
- Will I know the answers to questions as I prospect?
- Why am I not picking up the phone to call my leads?
- I'm afraid my friends won't talk to me.

We can go on and on but let's stop here and let me tell you what I believe.

Guys, if somebody laughs at you. Big Deal! You don't have to be in MLM for someone to laugh at you. Don't waste your energy on the feeble opinions of others that don't have your vision of change in your life. Somebody laughs at your opportunity, wonderful, because they just eliminated themselved & you don't have to waste your time. It's normal to have prospecting jitters when it's a new forming habit as facing this challenge head on and practicing your prospecting techniques will improve over time. If your new you shouldn't be answering questions you don't know the answers to anyway. That's why you want to use a 3-way call option and take the worry off your shoulders.

If your afraid to pick up the phone and call your leads, either hire a virtual assistant to handle the calls for you assuming you have the budget for it. But if you don't have the money, you really need to press on and get past this. Keep in mind people gave YOU their contact information because they are looking forward to hearing from you and need your help. You're the HERO not the other way around.

True friends are a wonderful joy to have. However if your friends won't talk to you because you're sharing a business opportunity with them, I'm sorry. These people were never your friends. True friends build up and encourage one another and if you don't have this, start making new friends with your network marketing colleagues. You are who you surround yourself with so if you want to be a joyful, successful marketer start surrounding yourself with people who share the same thoughts.

Connect With Other Networkers

Regardless what industry you're in, you will have high points and low points, but never feel you have to be alone in business. You can't be your own island. Associate with other network marketers! The finest spot to do this is at live gatherings where you carry on your MLM training knowledge. Yes your going to live events to further your MLM education but truly it's about connecting, sharing and building relationships. If your next event isn't until a few months away, find a local networking group in your city. Try Meetup.com or Facebook and search for local networking or business groups that you can connect with.

You'll never know what surprises the next live conference may bring you, may put you in a position where you sign up a big cheese who has a huge social ring of associates. Or you can really connect with somebody at a live MLM event that you end up doing webinars or creating a joint venture. Expand your vision always.
