MLM Sponsoring Secrets: Overcome Your Phone Fear

You see the MLM industry for the time freedom that it can provide for you and your family! You've made your warm market list, you're ready to sponsor everyone and they're mom and dad. You made your warm list, picked up the phone and just froze. Your phone just became 10 feet tall, 2 tons and just halted you from creating success. The MLM sponsoring secrets will reveal how to conquer your phone fear and master it. Remember the following list when prospecting and tape it up to your wall or phone base if you have to. Here you go...

...Your prospect opted into your website and wants to hear from YOU!
...Your prospect needs YOU!
...Someone saw value in YOU and what you're offering!
...YOU are the Boss. You decide who YOU want to work with!
...YOU owe to yourself, your family, your future MLM career to see this thru!
...Like any other thing in life that's requires change for growth, YOU have to work on this daily!
...YOU have to want this as much as you want air to breathe!

Here's what you need to know so you can get back on track and eliminate your phone prospecting fears permanently.

Just Do It

I know I sound like a Nike commercial but it's true. You joined an MLM company and as much as you hear people marketing no prospecting systems or autopilot systems, your still going to have to pick up the phone and talk to people. Always take a deep breath before the call and believe it or not smiling actually helps. Worse case scenario, have a family member dial for you and hand it over to when your prospect picks up. At this point its too late so you might as well have a little chat. Remember, MLM is a relaltionship business so just keep pressing on and you'll be a network marketing pro in no time.

What To Ask

Be genuine and friendly. Welcome them to your list. Remember your prospect is talking to a stranger (YOU) as well. They'll probably be somewhat nervous or guarded themselves. Ask them rapport building questions. For example

...What part of the country do you live in?
...Have you always lived there?
...What do you like to do for fun?
...What do you do for a living?
...Are you currently involved in MLM?
...What company?
...Were you involved in other MLM opportunities other than this one?
...What problem are you currently having with your current MLM?

Your not trying to sell them on your business opportunity at this point but rather sorting to find out if this is the kind of prospect you would like to work with. Once your done listening and you're familiar with their situation, make a few recommendations. Practice saying these questions out loud with a family member or friend so you can be comfortable on the phone.

What to Recommend

If your prospect has difficulty with lead generation and has no clue how to do build a list, then they clearly need marketing training. I would invite my prospect to a Wednesday evening webinar on MLSP (My Lead System Pro) and see if that resonates with them. They may just join after viewing the webinar.

If the prospect is jumping from business opportunity to opportunity looking for a golden egg I would recommend a personal development book (e.g. The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness by Noah St. John)

If I resonated with my prospect to a level that I can sense leader potential and they are open to work with me, I would send them to a business presentation and follow up later with a 3 way call with on my leaders.

If the prospect is a tire kicker and strictly curious then I would provide some level of value depending on the conversation but keep the conversation brief. You don't want to spend much time if you've already disqualified them.

Ending The Conversation

Always end your conversations in a postive upbeat manner. If you have an autoresponder set up, remind the prospect that they will be getting continuous value via email. Should they have any future questions they can get in contact with you but email would be the best since your always on the phone taking care of business. This will send the message in your prospects mind that you are a true leader and your time is valuable to you. Remember continue role playing with different friends and family members so you develop the network marketing professional in you.
