How To Develop Brochures That Mean Business

When you want to create marketing brochures that mean business and would help you grow your business, you got to stick to the basics. You can never go wrong when you do. So here’s a reiteration of what have been used since for brochure printing:

1. Less is more. It takes simplicity and clarity to get your message across your target audience. So what’s your aim in creating your marketing brochures? You need to be clear about that so you’ll be able to consider what information you’re going to include in your marketing tool, as well as what comes first and so forth and so on. Move everything around so you’ll be able to see what will work best to clearly convey your message.

2. KISS. Keep it simple and sweet. Remember that you need to focus on your message. Too many elements will only clutter and confuse your target readers from what is really important – your message. So include only those that are necessary to emphasize what you have to say. If you decide to include graphics and pictures to complement your design, be sure that it provides value to your message rather than create distraction to your target readers.

3. Consider other brochures. Another way you can make your print ad more effective is to look at what’s already out there, collect and study them, and then choose the elements that made them appealing to their audience.

4. Focus on your voice and your target audience. Who’s your target? How do you want to convey your message? Just remember to choose your typeface that will clearly emphasize what you have to say to your target customers. You can vary the size if you want to highlight what is important and vital. But don’t forget to limit your fonts to two at a time. This is again, to avoid distracting your target readers from your message.

5. Use ‘white space’ to bond the elements in your ad. By adjusting the space around each of the elements, you bring forth into focus what is really important. You provide a breather with your ‘white space’ that makes your most crucial element stand out.

6. When using color, also consider a different shade for your paper. Instead of your ink, why not us a colored stock instead. But stick to one or two shades to avoid overwhelming your target customers with too much detail. And if you’re keen on applying color to your ad, consider all the costs of color printing your brochures.
