How To Advertise Your Hotel Through Brochures

If in the old days, you have to shout your offers at a town plaza, today, with the growth of metropolitans, marketing and promotional activities have taken a new form—brochure printing.

What Are brochures?

Brochures are actually small leaflets the primary purpose of which is to advertise products and services. Over the years, they have been proven valuable in steering customers toward acquiring a particular product or availing of a particular service.

Ideally, brochures are placed in shops and other places where people visit often. Due to their versatile folding design, brochures make for an effective two- and three-dimensional representation of objects.

1. Know your audience. Ask yourself, for whom are the brochures? The overall design of the brochure should reflect what your hotel offers: accommodation types, rates, location, accessibility, service, and other pertinent information. There are a lot brochure templates to choose from that will effectively fit your type of business. Just make sure to pick a design that’s not too outwardly or indecent.

2. Look for a good printing company. With the dawn of the Internet, a lot of printing options have come to the forefront. These options offer new techniques that offer good printing services.

3. Choose the right paper. Light colored paper is good for brochures. A heavier paper may be an option provided that it will fit your hotel’s personality. There are some that go for coated papers. It can work out as long as the kind of paper you choose fits the type of brochure design you want.

4. Pick the right color. Next to choosing the paper to use, color is another important consideration. Make sure to choose colors that complement well with your hotel. It is best to match your choice with the logo of your business.

5. Font choice affects message delivery. The kind of font you use influences the tone of your brochure. If you want to deliver your point vivid and concise, use only one font style. Steer away from too much exaggeration to avoid cluttering the brochure’s space.

However you present your hotel brochure, just make sure to stay professional and realistic in your design. Remember, all the other hotels in your area are making their own brochure to boost advertisement of their establishment. Follow the golden rule in brochure printing: If it is hard for your readers to grasp what your brochure is about, then do not expect it to be any success. A brochure may be just one piece of magazine, but it will surely bring good return to your business.
