Doing That Sales “Talk” With Your Posters

Most people invest in poster printing because they want to sell something. However, when most of these people print posters, they forget to do the right sales “talk” in their design. They think that a nice looking poster with decent graphics is enough to sell something. The truth however is totally different.

In this guide to poster printing and design, I will teach you how to do the right kind of sales talk with your posters. There are five key parts to effectively communicating your marketing message and making a sale with color posters. So remember each item on the list below and apply them to your own posters.

• Attraction is the first key – The first most important element in establishing that “sales talk” in poster printing is the attraction element. Even from afar, your posters should be able to grab attention and be noticed by readers. You won’t be able to sell anything with your color posters without people actually glancing at your poster’s direct right?

That is why it is very important to choose the right kind of attractive picture that is seen from afar. So do not just use a picture of the product or service you are selling in your sales poster. Add in other highly noticeable elements, such as a beautiful model, an amazing artistic graphic, a funny image or even a wise cracking line. Once you have attracted readers with these elements, your sales talk can really start with your posters.

• Selling with your images – Now, once you have the attractive element set into your design, the second part of the sales talk in poster printing is the part of selling your products with the actual images. Now, you may have that large poster image as the attractive factor, but to hem in your sales message, you may also want to add other images to start selling your products.

Typically, it is good to place in smaller pictures in your posters that display the different angles of your product as well as the different types of things people use them for. Since people are basically shopping and browsing for your products in posters, it is important to give them all the different angles, and show them all the different features visually. This lets them truly judge your poster products and hopefully start buying them as well.

• Selling with your text – After the image, you should then try to sell things via your poster text. In this aspect of sales poster printing, you will want to tell people the right information that they want about your poster product. It is not enough to just list down the features of your product or service. You should try to communicate the actual benefits of the product that translates into the everyday life of the reader. Will it make some of their usual tasks a lot easier? Will they live healthier? Will they become happier? By providing the real reasons and benefits to the reader, you can sell your poster product in a more natural way that works well.

• Getting people to act – Afterward, it is important for you to always add an invitation or a call to actions when it comes to selling things in your poster. Usually people will not do anything with your advertisement until you tell them what to do. So make sure you add a statement that tells people to “buy now” or “order here”. This will encourage people to actually buy from you, increasing your sales rate.

• Making it easy to buy – Lastly, selling things in posters mean making it easier for readers to buy. Always make it a point to add clear instructions on when and how to buy your products so that your readers will have an easy time really getting and buying your items. The easier it is to buy, the faster you should get sales. So remember this well as you do your poster marketing.
