Common Problems Faced By Network Marketers

MLM marketing can be a very difficult industry to be successful in, those involved for some time will know what I mean. It's true that most will not have any success in this business model. This is what happened to me. I first got involved with a health & vitamin company about 7 years ago and whilst I did make some money from selling the products on the internet I was never able to recruit a strong downline. Many an hour I spent madly trying to show my prospects that my opportunity could make them rich, even knowing full well myself that it wasn't working for me.

Many fall into the trap of moving around to different companies, one company doesn't make them any money so they assume the company and products are no good. There is no doubt in my mind that the mlm model is the best around for building residual wealth but without the right knowledge in recruiting techniques it just isn't going to work. People keep on trying different opportunities but they never get to the root of the problem and that is how to master the techniques of sponsoring.

Of course you need to work with a company that sells products that people actually want but more importantly a product that people NEED. You need to ask yourself the question, if the product did not have a compensation plan attached to it would it still sell? If the products don't stand up to this test then consider leaving your current deal and find something better. You also need to consider how you will build your business, do you have a large database of business contacts and people that you could share your opportunity with? Most people starting in this industry won't, so they very quickly run out of people to talk to and of course without a steady flow of leads your business is not going to ever be successful.

For 6 years I had exactly the same issues and was continually scrounging around for leads using techniques such as making those horrible cold calls, talking to my friends about my business and leaving those annoying cards on people's cars. At the end of it all I really had had enough and was about to leave the whole industry for good and take up a regular job, but a friend told me that he had been successfully building his business online so I checked it out. Certainly it seemed to be a good idea given the amount of folks online searching for business opportunities but as many people discover building a business online is not always as easy as it sounds especially if you have no marketing budget.

Since then I have spent about 3 months solidly searching, watched countless hours of training material and paid out a fair bit of cash for training products, but the end result is that it certainly does work online, you are going to have to work at it though, it's like any other business platform, it will take a large amount of work. There's no doubt that you can't rely completely on the internet to build an mlm business because we all know that mlm is a people's business, it's all about networking. However by utilising the leverage of the internet my results over the last year have been nothing short of impressive and my residual income has grown exponentially. The internet is definitely a great place to do business, with the leverage and automation that it offers us you would be foolish not to be taking advantage of it.
