Closing YourNetwork Marketing Propects With Questions

What is the single leading snag people have in MLM? Closing their prospects. Individuals dread it in fact, lose sleep over helpless prospects, have trepidation about calling their prospects, stumble through scripts while talking to their prospects, and usually fear the entire process. Some MLM companies, numerous in fact, try to confront this by doing 3-way calls. Although 3-way calls have a rationale and can be an invaluable tool to get a new person started and learn from the person leading the call, they also offer a crutch for them as well. How many times do you have to have your sponsor close your prospects before you tackle it on your own? 2, 3, 25 times, will that be enough or will you still limp along even longer (You may think to yourself no one would do 3-way calls 25 times, but trust me when I say there are a few who would, unfortunately for everyone involved).

Just because you aren't used to closing, does that mean you can't do it? What does it take to learn to close a prospect?

There are hundreds of methods, psychological tricks, and techniques to closing a prospect. For the sake of this article I break it down to it's simpliest form or an over-simplified version of it. No doubt you have leaders in your team(s) who have there own ways or who will tell you how to do it a certain way. I will simply give you a starting point for you to mold to make it your own. Here are some of the questions I ask.

Why are you looking into a home based business? (and/or) What has driven you to pursue a business of your own at this time in your life?
(Using the word “driven” puts them into their “why” and allows you to know what they are looking to solve in their life)

What is your experience in Network Marketing? How many years? Which Companies?

What are you trying to get to as far as income is concerned?
(This lets you know if they are a big thinker and if they are the kind of person that, if accepted, will work to build that income)

Can you SEE yourself making that kind of money?
(Can they envision and can they solidify it in their mind to achieve it)

Other than cash, what are you looking to get out of your small business? (As a follow up to that question) Given that you were making the revenue you are looking to make, what would you do then? What would the profits provide for you?
(Getting them to again find their “why)

At this point you should have plenty of ammo to work with. You tell them about your journey, what you have accomplished, what you offer (if they already have a business, find out what experience do they have with marketing or if they are looking for a business, how marketing can get them started ahead of most ML’ers by using it effectively), and how you can guide them. Give them your expectations, how you operate, give clear instructions, and tell them what they need to do next.


Creating a successful Network Marketing Business online can sometimes be tricky, but with the right Online Training you can build a solid passive and residual income.
