1. Carefully choose your subjects. As you know, the success of your articles will largely depend on the topics that you choose to write. If you go with those ones that are uninteresting, you can be assured that no one will pay attention to your copies. As you surely don't want this to happen, you need to stick with topics that will grab your readers by the throat. Get to know the best things to talk about on your articles by doing keyword research, by doing interviews, and by conducting surveys.

2. Use killer titles. This is just as important as choosing interesting topics for your articles as this is what will draw your readers in. As this is the first thing that your audience will going to see, make sure that it will leave a lasting impression. Your titles must be expertly-written. They must have what it takes to persuade your target audience to open and read your articles.

3. Research your topics thoroughly. Great articles are those that contain in-depth, complete information. You can create such articles if you spend enough time to gather all the important data that can make your articles informative. I suggest that you check out relevant and reputable sites and if possible, interview other people who can offer you with great information.

4. Plan ahead. Develop a very descriptive outline before you start writing. This must contain ideas as to what information you're going to include in your articles and in what order you're going to present them. Ensure that your outline will help you make your articles sound interesting to read.

5. Think of your readers. Each time you present fresh information on your articles, ask yourself; "Is this something that will benefit my readers?" "Is this information going to help them?" This is one great way to give them great learning experience and to make them see that you value the time they choose to spend in reading your articles.

6. Write simply. There is no need to showcase your wide range of vocabulary when writing web articles as the people who'll read them have different levels of comprehension. Some didn't even attend college. Write using the most common terms.

7. Keep it short. You can better serve your target audience, who have short attention span, if you make your articles snappy, short, and tight. Tell these what people what you want to tell them using as few words as possible. Avoid using fillers at all cost. Just say what you mean and mean what you say.

8. Ensure that your articles are way better compare to your competitors'. Before you start writing, I suggest that you check out similar articles that were distributed by those people that you're going up against. Understand the way they were written and figure out how you can make your articles better. This step may require a lot of time but you can be assured that it will worth it. This could be the best thing that you can do so you will not lose your potential clients to your competitors.
